There will be Fireworks!! Safety First!

That time of year has approached, when the clocks have changed, there are leaves fallen from the trees, the nights are getting darker and following the season of pumpkins and the event of Halloween, we now have Bonfire Night!

Whilst fireworks are very pretty as they burst into the sky, we must remember that safety must come first! It takes a tiny moment, or lack of concentration, a moment of silliness for an accident to occur.

Please remember the Firework Code - and let us all keep our children wrapped up warm, and safely close by an adult as they enjoy the magic of colours in the sky. Go to a properly organised display.

Remember the pets too - they get scared of loud noises, and some fireworks are very loud! Keep them indoors, keep a radio or TV on for a background distraction.

Our lovely Louise has been searching for a few firework displays happening in the South London Borough - is there one near you? Let us know how it was - we like to hear feedback from people.
