Kids Deserve the Best will assist you throughout the whole process, from your initial inquiry continuing all the way through to after placement support and follow up. Kids Deserve the Best want you to be happy and confident with the choices you make and choose the right person for the right reasons - your children are special and they deserve the BEST, not second or third best!

Our nannies

All potential Nannies have been interviewed in person by Kids Deserve the Best, a full history of experience taken and an idea of their long term plans. References are checked before being considered for any family. The majority of Nannies will have a recent CRB Check, however if a family want a more up to date check carried out we will be happy to do this for you.

Nannies come to us with a variety of skills, training and real life experience - you choose what works best for you. Employing a Nanny has many benefits.

Benefits of having a Nanny

They offer greater flexibility for working families, especially for those who work longer or unusual hours.
A Nanny will give your children 1-1 care and interaction in their own familiar home environment.
Nannies are there to look after all the children's needs, including their safety and general welfare, making healthy meals, taking to toddler groups and doing the school runs, in addition to planning a structured and FUN day for the child or children.
The Nanny should also keep the children's bedrooms clean and tidy and assist with children's laundry.
Nannies are paid per hour per family, not per child as in other childcare facilities - especially useful for families of more than one child.
If you receive childcare vouchers through your employer or the childcare element of tax credits then you may be able to redeem this against the cost of your nanny by using an Ofsted Registered Nanny. Nannies who are currently on the Voluntary Ofsted Register are likely to be working with a family already. Please read our Voluntary Ofsted Registration Guidance for more information.

First aid

As an extra service to parents, Kids Deserve the Best are working with Blue Tiger Training to provide First Aid Training for Parents to help you become more confident in managing accidents and how to deal with First Aid incidents as well as coping with some of the common illnesses involving infants and children.
