Kids Deserve the Best want you to be happy and confident with the choices you make and choose the right job for the right reasons - a family will rely on you to look after their children and they need to ensure that you are committed to their family and not using there position as a stepping stone until something better comes along.

Being a Nanny is a very responsible job and needs to work well with both parties in order to build a good bond with the children and the family - choose wisely the first time! Kids Deserve the Best has very high standards and procedures to ensure the best result for both the nanny and the family.

If you are looking for temporary or permanent, full or part time employment, Kids Deserve the Best can assist you free of charge and in a confidential manner. Appointments are arranged at a mutually convenient time and location. Saturday morning appointments can be pre-arranged to give you better flexibility.

Training for nannies

Paediatric First Aid Training

Kids Deserve the Best are working with Blue Tiger Training to provide you with an avenue to update your Paediatric First Aid Certificate. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure you have a valid First Aid certificate - this must be a 12 hour course specifically for working with babies and children. It is the Nanny who is responsible for this cost.

Common Core Skills and Preparing to Work in Childcare

Kids Deserve the Best are also able to point you in the direction of gaining an introductory Childcare Certificate. MNT Training are able to offer a distance learning option for you to obtain The Common Core Skills. Doula Consultancy Services are able to offer an online learning option for you to obtain the Common Core Skills. Check out both options to see which will suit you. Both options are accepted by Ofsted.

Kids Deserve the Best have also sourced a Preparing to Work in Childcare assignment based course - the content of which includes Health & Nutrition, understanding play for early learning, growth and development of young children, variety of activities for children. Currently this course is available at a reduced rate.
