After Care and Support
Kids Deserve the Best not only provide families with support throughout the process of sourcing the best nanny to suit your needs, but also after the Nanny has started working with you.
Once the Nanny has commenced work we will make contact with both the family and the nanny after the first few weeks to see how things are progressing and to offer any further assistance with tasks such as ensuring contracts are in place, payroll set-up or anything else you are not sure about.
If all is well we will leave you in peace to enjoy the support of your nanny.
If at any time in the future you need guidance on a particular issue please contact us and we will provide support as you require.
What if it goes wrong?
We advise that the first 4 weeks of the employment to be on a probationary basis, during which either party can end the employment if it is not working by giving one weeks notice. At the end of the first four weeks we advise that both you and your nanny have a sit down review and find out how each other feels things are progressing, discussing what is working well and what could be improved.
If the nanny leaves you within the first six months, help and support will be provided to help you find a replacement at no extra cost. This applies if the nanny leaves you, not if you change the details of the job.
If the nanny leaves after six months, help and support will be provided to help you find a replacement and you will be invoiced a half placement fee.
Good, clear and consistent communication between both parties is what will make your nanny placement successful.
