Our philosophy to our Nannies is to listen to see what works for you, what you are looking for and match your skills and experience to a family.

Kids Deserve the Best want you to be happy and confident with the choices you make and choose the right job for the right reasons - a family will rely on you to look after their children and they need to ensure that you are committed to their family and not using there position as a stepping stone until something better comes along.

Being a Nanny is a very responsible job and needs to work well with both parties in order to build a good bond with the children and the family - choose wisely the first time!

Kids Deserve the Best has very high standards and procedures to ensure the best result for both the nanny and the family.

If you are looking for temporary or permanent, full or part time employment, Kids Deserve the Best can assist you free of charge and in a confidential manner. Office hours are 9.00am-6.00pm on Monday and 9.00am-5-00pm Tuesday through to Friday. Saturday morning appointments can be pre-arranged to give you better flexibility.

Please call to make an appointment to discuss your needs and arrange a meeting with Sarah. You will be asked to complete a detailed application form.

You should bring along:

• Original Child Care qualification certificates
• A current Paediatric First Aid Certificate(if you do not have a current first aid certificate you will need to update your skills as soon as possible, see training page)
  
• Any previous CRB Checks(if you do not have a recent CRB Check you will be asked to apply for a new one, CRB checks are processed by First Standard Ltd at a cost of £60 per applicant)
  
• Your up to date CV - please ensure it covers ALL of your childcare experience
• A supporting statement which indicates why this is the right job for you
• 2 passport sized photographs
• Name, address, email address and telephone details for 3 referees
• Your birth certificate, driving licence and passport for identification

We will then discuss your application in more detail, asking questions about yourself, your skills and your career aims. We cannot process your application without having met you and taken up your references.
