Nanny (4 days a week, possible 5 for the right person) 1 child (BCD) - Morpeth, Northumberland (NE61)

Closing date: 09 Mar 2018

A Nanny is required to provide support to a family in the Morpeth area with the care of their one child aged 19 months. The family also have a friendly dog.

The role will be to attend to all the daily needs of the child:

  • Planning a variety of healthy meals
  • Feeding, ensuring a healthy and balanced diet,
  • Bathing and wellness, changing nappies, changing clothes
  • Entertaining with a variety of age appropriate activities and outings to encourage learning and development
  • Bedtime and sleep routines
  • Continuing with and developing new routines to help to family with the care of the child
  • Some help with light household tasks would be most appreciated

Both parents work from home some of the time, however due to the nature of the parent's work, they do have to travel each week with either/or both parents being away. Flexibility is required to fit around the parent's work  schedules. The nanny care is going to be replacing the nursery care which is currently in place now.

The post offers 4 full days working approximately 9am-5.30pm (possibly 6pm) - there is some flexibility over the starting time.

Additional babysitting hours would also be helpful on an 'as and when' needed basis.A driver with transport would be preferred, however this is not an essential requirement.

The position is to start as soon as the right person is available.

(The family are very laid back and have given the idea of having a nanny a lot of consideration and now is the time for them to make this their childcare solution.)
